Checklist Android device configuration

If you realize measurements on local Android device, please check this list each time you launch measures.

  1. Connect to the Wi-Fi network

  2. Bluetooth : Off

  3. NFC : Off

  4. Settings / Display :

    • Adaptive brightness : Off

    • Sleep : after 30m

    • Screen rotation : Off (Portrait)

  5. Settings / Sound : Disable all sounds

  6. Settings / System / Gestures : Disable Quick launch Camera

  7. Disable notifications

  8. Disable Google Assistant (Ok Google)

  9. Settings / Battery :

    • Power saving mode : Off

    • Ultra Power saving mode : Off

    • App power saving / detail : Off

  10. Settings / Security :

    • Screen Lock : None

    • Location : Off

  11. Settings / Security / Unknown sources : On

  12. Chrome :

    • Close Chrome

    • In Settings / App / Chrome, clear all data on storage

    • On Welcome page, uncheck the 'help make chrome better ...' and click on 'Accept & continue' button

    • Turn off sync if a Gmail account is detected

    • Kill Chrome and reopen it and click on 'No, thanks' on Browse faster popup

  14. Other Security settings

    • Security policy update

      • Automatic update : Off

      • Wifi only : Off

  15. Send security reports : Off

  16. Usage data access

    • Google Play Services

      • Allow usage tracking : Off

    • Google Play Store

      • Allow usage tracking : Off

    • Smart Manager

      • Allow usage tracking : Off

  17. Google Play (skip if no Google account is configured)

    • Notifications : Off

    • Auto Update apps : Off

    • Update Google services (otherwise the update popup will show up)
